Information you give us

We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), type of business, and the message you write to us.
• Job applications: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the position you're interested in, years of experience (optional), a LinkedIn or portfolio link (optional), your message, and — if you choose to attach one — your résumé as a PDF.

Information collected automatically

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand how many people visit our pages and how quickly the site loads. This data is aggregated and does not use tracking cookies or build an advertising profile of you. Your browser also sends standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to our hosting provider, as happens with any website.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and set up a call about our services.
• To review and evaluate your job application.
• To operate, maintain, and improve our website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We rely on a few trusted service providers to run our site and receive your messages. They process your information only to provide their service to us:

• Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on our site, which involves your browser requesting them from Google. (privacy policy)

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Résumés and job applications

If you attach a résumé, it is uploaded to our file-storage provider (Vercel Blob) and shared with our hiring team by link so we can review your application. We use it only for recruitment. We keep application materials only as long as we need them to consider you for current or future roles, and you can ask us to delete them at any time using the contact details below.

Cookies

We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Our analytics are cookieless, and any essential storage is only what's needed for the site to function.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with us. Just email us at chrisam@amfreelancers.com and we'll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Data security

Our site is served over HTTPS, and we rely on reputable providers to store and process your information. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
